Tomorrow, the atmosphere of Georgetown Club will transcend into one that is exhilarating and eccentric, Pan Jazz Concerts Creative Director Reon Miller has said as he and his gear up to host the inaugural PanJam: The Steelband Jamboree concert.
While he is known for the promotion of Jazz concerts played through steel pans, this event, Reon said, will be different. The concert, he explained, is being hosted in a lively and chic environment where patrons will be serenaded by a magnificent line-up of Guyanese artistes supported by pan instruments in their sets.
The highlight will be the clash between the Guyana Police Force Steel Orchestra and the Caribbean Airlines Parkside Steel Orchestra, which will go at each other song for song.
