Julian Dow of Lot 63, Perth Village, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was last Thursday freed of the charge of possession of a firearm and ammunition after a city Magistrate upheld a no-case submission made by his attorney, Eusi Anderson.
The prosecution’s case was that police officers caught Dow in a downtown Georgetown hotel room, with a haversack strapped to his shoulders, containing a gun and a quantity of ammunition.
