Family members, friends and supporters of recently slain youth Quindon Bacchus on Saturday staged a peaceful protest from Ann’s Grove to Golden Grove, on the East Coast of Demerara, calling for more police to face charges in connection with his death.
Stabroek News saw scores of persons, including some with banners and placards, participating in the protest, which was peaceful. A previous protest in which many participated recently ended in unrest.
