E’quibo businessman donates $1M in hampers to Kabakaburi

Businessman Hemant Kumar Takram on Saturday donated 160 gift hampers to residents of the Kabakaburi Amerindian community in Upper Pomeroon River, in Region Two. 

Kumar is the owner of three variety stores at Cotton Field, Anna Regina and Charity. 

The businessman, who will be celebrating his birthday today, decided to make the donation to the community as part of his celebrations.
