A Linden businesswoman was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday night after two bandits smashed the windows of the vehicle she was in along with her 12-year-old daughter.
In a statement yesterday, the police did not name the businesswoman but said that she had just finished working at her business J & R Elite Variety Store which is located on Republic Avenue, Mackenzie, Linden.
The police say she was robbed of $350,000, US$300 and a handbag valued at $25,000. The two suspects later managed to evade the police.
