US donates 52,800 Pfizer paediatric COVID vaccines

The United States on Tuesday announced that a shipment of 52,800 Pfizer COVID-19 paediatric vaccines for Guyana had arrived.

A release from US Embassy here said this brings the total number of vaccines donated by the US to Guyana to 354,660.  

The paediatric doses, donated through COVAX are intended for children ages 5–11, and will further strengthen Guyana’s National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.
