Kwakwani man gets three years, $17M fine after ganja bust

A Kwakwani man was on Friday sentenced to three years in jail and fined just over $17 million for the possession of 25 pounds of ganja for trafficking.

Carlon Causeway pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment and fined $17,009,700, which was said to be three times the street value of the narcotics which was found in his possession.
