The Region 10 Tourism Committee Inc has lobbied G-Invest to help enable more investment for the region.
On Thursday, 11th August, the Region Ten Tourism Committee Inc Chairman, Devin Sears and Treasurer Jeffrey Yearwood, met with the CEO of the Guyana Office for Investment (G-Invest) Dr. Peter Ramsaroop, Special Projects Officer, Arvinda Ramcharan and Export Promotion Officer, Natoyah Fields-Harewood to discuss tourism investment for the Upper Demerara/Upper Berbice area.
A release from the Region 10 committee said that Dr. Ramsaroop outlined the supportive role G-Invest plays in lobbying for investment prospects. He highlighted the strategic part Region 10 will play in Guyana’s development in the advent of the Linden to Lethem Road, the new Demerara Bridge and the establishment of a deep-water port.
