-quarterfinals set
Sparta Boss will oppose Swag Entertainment, and Stabroek Ballers will engage Slingerz FC in the semi-final round of the ‘Keep Ya Five Alive’ Futsal Championship, following quarterfinal wins on Saturday evening at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.
Sparta Boss bested East Front Road 3-1. The trident of Jermin Junior, Marcus Wilson, and Nicholas MacArthur scored in the 22nd, 27th and 34th minute respectively. For East Front Road, Tevin Campbell recorded a consolation goal in the 38th minute.
On the other hand, Swag Entertainment dismissed Future Stars 5-2. Kellon Primo, Kendolph Lewis, Kocie Gentle, Rene Allicock, and Deon Charter scored in the 21st, 23rd, 41st, 43rd, and 45th minute apiece. On the other side, Keron Solomon and Carl Griffith netted in the 19th and 27th minute.
