The Guyana National U14 Boys football programme yesterday suffered their second consecutive defeat of their three-match tour of Suriname, losing to the Transvaal U16 setup.
The Guyanese went down by 0-4 score-line. Guyana was defeated by Voorwarts U16 outfit 0-2 in their first match. They will now conclude their campaign against Inter-Wanica at 17.30 hours today.
Devnon Winter, Head-coach of the team, during a post-match comment stated that the tour is a being utilized to develop and assess the quality of the players, adding that the result is not of utmost importance, but the manner in which the team performs in different phases and areas of the field is much more significant.
