The skeletal remains discovered along the Eversham, Corentyne foreshore on Saturday morning have since been identified to be those of a missing Surinamese fisherman.
The relatives of Wazir Shaw, 45, a fisherman who has been missing since August 9, from Nickerie, Suriname, ventured over to Guyana on Tuesday where the identification was done. He was subsequently buried here.
