Cove and John butcher who collapsed on Sheriff St died of heart attack

A butcher who collapsed and died around 2pm last Saturday, in the vicinity of Survival Supermarket on Sheriff Street, died from a myocardial infarction (heart attack), the autopsy report revealed on Wednesday

The dead’s man niece, Asha Bovell, told Stabroek News that her uncle, Rampaul Mohan, 60, known as ‘Bowdoo’, com-plained about migraines a few weeks back. She said he visited the Georgetown Public Hospital (GHPC) to see why he was having the migraines. He did a couple of tests but all came back negative. Bovell added that no one was sure where Mohan was going as he didn’t contact any of his family members like he always would do when he goes to visit his sister at her workplace on Sheriff Street.
