A caretaker yesterday pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
The charge against the 54-year-old Lawrence Gittens of Croal Street, Georgetown, stated that on September 1 at Hadfield Street, Georgetown, he had in his possession 8 grams of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
The man who admitted to the charge before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly in the City Court was fined $100,000 or one year imprisonment.
