wGuyana Football Federation (GFF) President Wayne Forde recently presented the association’s 2021 audited financial statements to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport Charles Ramson Jr., and thanked the entity for the financial support for the recent FIFA referee training seminar. According to a press release, the ministry partnered with the GFF to aid in offsetting the costs for the annual referee programme, which was staged last month at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Minister Ramson Jr., said, “The Government of Guyana is committed to continuous investment in the future of all sports, including football and that must include the capacity building and upskilling of match officials, who play a vital role on the field of play.”
