At the conclusion of the first-ever housing outreach on Wakenaam, Essequibo River, the CEO of the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CHPA) stated that over 200 persons expressed interest in house lots outside of the island.
Regions Three and Four were identified as places of interest. Minister of Housing Collin Croal explained that in the coming weeks the ‘Dream Realised’ Housing Drive – Region Three exercise will cater to persons interested in lands outside of the island.
