After being closed for more than ten years, the Mara Police Station, East Bank Berbice was yesterday reopened.
In a ceremony attended by residents and several of the donors, the station which took about five weeks of continuous renovation works to complete was officially reopened by Regional Chairman David Armogan; Deputy Police Commissioner ‘Operations’ (ag.) Ravindradat Budhram and Regional Police Commander, Senior Superintendent Boodnarine Persaud.
