The burnt remains discovered at Yarrowkabra by the police on Sunday are believed be those of Marc Melville who went missing two Mondays ago and there was evidence of chop wounds.
Stabroek News was told that there appeared to be chop wounds to the skull and other body parts and the body was then stuffed into a suitcase and burnt. DNA testing may now have to be pursued to confirm that the remains are Melville’s.
