Just over $11.8 billion in contracts for the construction of the Schoonord, West Bank Demerara to Crane, West Coast Demerara four-lane highway were signed yesterday at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre.
A release from the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CHPA) said that the project has been awarded to eight contractors via the national procurement process. The winning contractors are VR Con-struction Inc, Avinash Contracting & Scrap Metal Inc, L-Heureuse Construction and Services Inc, Guyamerica Construction Inc, AJM Enterprise, Vals Construction, Puran Bros Disposal Inc, and JS Guyana Inc.
