Seaton sets new national record at World Junior Swimming C/ships

National swimmer Leon Seaton set a new national record in the men’s freestyle event at the recent 8th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships.

Seaton, competing in Lima, Peru, placed first in clocking 53.48 seconds in the 100m men’s freestyle event breaking Andrew Fowler’s record of 54.10s in the process.

Seaton also clocked a personal best in the men’s 50m freestyle event with a time of 25.58 second which earned him fourth place.
