Region Two’s Regional Democratic Council (RDC) on Wednesday presented plaques and cash awards to top performers at this year’s National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) and the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations.
The regional award ceremony, organised by the Department of Education, was held on Wednesday in the boardroom of the RDC.
Receiving awards for the NGSA examinations were Ziyaad Ally, of Aurora Primary, Sarah Baharally, of Suddie Primary, Romir Chetram, of C V Nunes Primary, Garfield Bryan of Taymouth Manor, Narendra Persaud of Taymouth Manor, Adrian Amsterdam of C V Numes Primary, Amaria Kwang of Good Hope Primary, Darshinie Jadoo of Taymouth Manor Primary, Arianna Courtman and Mahish Persaud of Taymouth Manor.
