Teen among two more to face charge over $400M gold theft

Two more suspects, including a 17-year-old, are expected to be charged today in relation to the multi-million dollar gold theft from a Mahaica, East Coast Demerara dealer.

Stabroek News was reliably informed that as of yesterday afternoon, a total of six suspects, including two Subordinate Officers from Berbice, were in police custody in relation to the crime.

The two suspects to be charged are the teen and Deo Kissoon, 23, called ‘Troy’ and ‘Lolly,’ a construction worker of Herstelling Sea dam, East Bank Demerara.
