The Management of the Guyana/Suriname Ferry Service yesterday announced that the M.V. Canawaima will return to operation today.
The statement comes two days after management had announced that the ferry was down due to engine failure.
While the initial statement had said that it was unclear when the ferry would return to operation, yesterday’s release confirmed that the ferry will depart Suriname tomorrow morning for Guyana as it returns to the schedule of one crossing per day.
