Pupils of the Mocha/ Arcadia Primary School last Wednesday received 20 electrical fans and two Samsung smart televisions in keeping with a promise made by President Irfaan Ali.
The promise was during his visit to the East Bank community earlier this month when teachers raised concerns about students’ discomfort due to the heat, and the need to access educational programmes.
According to a Department of Public Information, Public Service Minister Sonia Parag handed over the items and stated that they will assist in creating a more conducive learning experience for pupils, while reiterating the government’s commitment to ensuring that no child is left behind.
