The Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is working to prepare a preliminary report on its findings from the probe into the incident where a Jags Aviation plane ran off the runway at the Eteringbang Airstrip last Thursday.

In a brief comment to this publication, Deputy Director General Saheed Sulaman explained that the agency’s inspectors are working to put together their findings in a preliminary report, which should be forthcoming soon.

The Jags Aviation passenger aircraft skidded off the airstrip and crashed into vegetation upon landing. No injuries or fatalities occurred.
