A security guard was on Wednesday granted bail in the sum of $140,000 after she was slapped with two cybercrime charges of posting derogatory statements about two women.
Pauleen Mohabir, 49, of Lot 1 Samaroo Dam, Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara (WBD), appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in Georgetown and pleaded not guilty to both charges.
It is alleged that during the years 2021 and 2022, at Georgetown, Mohabir used a computer system to publish electronic data about Shonella Anderson on Facebook with intent to humiliate, harass or cause substantial emotional distress to her.
