Firemen, medical technicians graduate from rigorous training

Forty-four ranks from the Guyana Fire Service (GFS) and thirty Emergency Medical technicians (EMTs) graduated on Friday after successfully completing nine weeks of rigorous training.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Leonora Training Centre, West Coast Demerara.

Among those in attendance were Minister of Home Affairs, Robeson Benn; Fire Chief (ag), Gregory Wickham and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mae Thomas.
