A miner who died in Region Seven on September 17 when a tree fell on him had only been employed for two weeks and had no safety training.
This is according to a Ministry of Labour release on Thursday following a visit to the site of the accident which claimed the life of Troy Prudencio, 24, of Lethem in Region Nine.
