Residents of Bartica in Region Seven are set to benefit from a housing initiative compliments of the government that would enable persons to own their own home or receive assistance toward constructing their own.
A Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) release on Tuesday informed of the launching of the Bartica Housing Programme which was held at the Bartica Community Centre. Among those present were Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal; Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, Susan Rodrigues; Permanent Secretary, Andre Ally; Chief Executive Officer of the Central Housing and Planning Authority, Sherwyn Greaves; and Regional Executive Officer, Kerwin Ward.
