Stafrei Alexander and Owen Belfield were on Wednesday handed a life sentence and a 14-year sentence respectively for the 2015 murder of Linden resident, Richard Remmington, whose decomposing remains had been found in a clump of bushes.
The duo was unanimously convicted by a jury back in April, but their sentencing had been deferred for the preparation of probation and other social impact reports.
They had been found guilty as charged, of murdering Remmington between February 9th and 12th of 2015.
