Officials remain tightlipped on ambulance chicken

Officials have remained tightlipped as it relates to the Skeldon Hospital ambulance which was discovered during the wee hours of last Friday with what is suspected to be smuggled chicken.

The ambulance, PAC 4274, was busted at the back of Number 78 Ram-poor Village, Corentyne.

Regional Health Officer, Dr. Vishalya Sharma when contacted initially had said that an internal investigation was launched after the discovery. Yesterday, Stabroek News was told that the investigation is still ongoing.
