Rupununi farmer pleads guilty to killing Brazilian in 2019

Rupununi farmer Darrel Williams called ‘Fox’ who had been charged with the 2019 Christmas Day stabbing death of a Brazilian farmer, is now awaiting sentencing after admitting that it was he who had killed the man.

At his arraignment before Justice Brassington Reynolds at the High Court in Demerara on Friday last, Williams who was originally indicted for murder, denied that charge, but admitted guilt on the lesser charge of manslaughter.

When the charge was read to him he accepted that on December 25th, 2019 it was he who unlawfully killed Elvis Aulicio at Moco Moco village, Central Rupununi.
