In an effort to make the roads safer, ranks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) Traffic Department have embarked on ‘Operation Safe Road,’ which has already led to the arrest of several drivers for violation of various traffic related offences over the past few days.

In a recent press release, the GPF said the traffic ranks have been “rigorously” enforcing the laws in all the policing division under the “stringent and proactive” road safety campaign.
