E-Networks says rolling out 5G VoLTE service

E-Networks Inc says it has invested US$35 million to expand its services and will be launching Guyana’s first 5G mobile cellular network-VoLTE (Voice over LTE) later this year.

“E-Networks has once again raised the bar for unsurpassed service, speed, and technology by building Guyana’s first 5G VoLTE (“Voice over LTE”) cellular network, firmly establishing itself as the leader in Guyana’s telecommunications industry,” the company stated in a press release issued on Monday.

“Competitively” priced packages which will include increased data allocations and modern account management features will be released “shortly” and the company said it is in the process of recruiting new employees, agents and top-up vendors for its mobile services.
