President Irfaan Ali on Tuesday told residents of Hague, West Coast Demerara that their road will be improved with $275m to be spent on repairs.
A statement from the Office of the President said that Ali assured residents of the Government’s investment during a community meeting. He said the road will be completely repaired, with 250 metres of revetment works expected to be done.
