Over the years Guyana’s basketball fans have been richly blessed by the performances of several brothers playing at the same FIBA sponsored tournaments.
This historic sequence started with the Brusche and Fitzalbert brothers.
The year was 1975 when Michael and Clifton Brusche and Melroy and Merton Fitzalbert proudly represented Guyana with honour at the 1975 Central American Basketball Championships in the Dominican Republic.
