The Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF) has shortlisted a male and a female squad from an initial provisional list of players for the upcoming Inter Guiana Games (IGG) Championships, to be staged on local shores from November 25th-27th at various venues.
President of the GABF Michael Singh during a brief comment revealed, “This is the shortlisted teams from the trials held last weekend.”
The boy’s list is : Carmelo Man-Son-Hing (St. Roses High), Domitre Rankin (Christ Church), Kimol Grimmond (Pure Masters Academy), Jether Harris (University of Guyana), Ezekiel Saul (President’s College), Shannon Wilson (Mahaicony Technical Institute), Charles Williams (New Amsterdam Technical Institute), Kurvin Mars (Mahaicony Technical Institute), Ronnel Campbell (Kwakwani), Jushawn Bayley (Guyana School of Agriculture), Travis Lewis (Kwakwani) and Kelon Phillips (Kwakwani). The aforementioned unit is coached by Willon Cameron and Courtney Taylor.
