The Guyana Shore Base Inc (GYSBI) on Friday made a financial contribution to the Board of Industrial Training (BIT) for training of citizens to ensure they are equipped to get involved in the oil and gas sector.

GYSBI Human Resource Manager Lilowtie Chintamani handed over the cheque to Minister of Labour Joseph Hamilton.

GYBSI, in a press release, said the contribution also paves the way for an extended collaboration plan between the two entities, which is not limited to practical training and apprenticeship.
