Demerara Fire and General Insurance Limited marked its 30th anniversary with a celebration at the Marriott Hotel, Georgetown on November 4th.
The company, which provides Motor and Fire Insurance policies, was incorporated on November 24, 1992, and opened its doors to the public on July 1, 1993. A release from the company said that its range of products has since expanded to include Liability, Marine and Aviation policies.
Manager of Demerara Fire and General, Asha Ojha, said that over the past three decades, the company has become a shining example of fair dealings and integrity within the insurance industry.
