Lennox Blackmore Intermediate boxing tourney underway

Fistic action in the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) Lennox Blackmore Intermediate Tournament got underway last evening at the National Gymnasium.

The sum of 10 bouts were carded in the curtain raiser of the three-night fixture which returns after a three-year hiatus which was due to the pandemic. 

This year’s tournament which also includes pugilists in the Junior’s and Youths categories, will pit the boxers against each other for medals, trophies and bragging rights. 

In excess of 50 fighters from GDF, Police, Republican, Pace and Power, FYF, Vergenoegen and Linden will be in action. 

Bell time is 18:00hrs nightly.
