Former national cricket and current deputy Mayor in the City of Georgetown Alfred Mentore has lauded the performances of the Guyana men’s Curling team.
The team recently won gold in the B-Division of the Inaugural Pan
Continental Curling Championship held in Canada and Mentore feels that the feat is significant given that
the sport of Curling was only introduced to Guyana in 2017 with the formation of the Guyana Curling Federation.
