A sixty-four-year-old taxi driver is among three persons who were arrested by the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) last week after a narcotics bust.
The drug enforcement unit last night said that while ranks were on an operation at the Springlands Public Road Corentyne, Berbice, they became suspicious of a silver-grey vehicle parked on the said public road.
As a result, ranks approached the vehicle but even though several individuals within the vicinity were questioned, no one claimed ownership or identified the driver of the said vehicle.
