A homeless man was on Wednesday sentenced to nine months imprisonment after appearing in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court and pleading guilty to a charge of simple larceny.
The charge against 58-year-old Daniel Guilfoir who has no fixed place of abode states that on November 10 at Light Street, Alberttown, Georgetown, he stole one washing machine valued at $110,000, property of Avina Ganroser.
