A Corentyne man was yesterday sentenced to 16 years in prison at the High Court in Berbice, after he opted to plead guilty to manslaughter in the death of his wife in 2017.
Raywatram Mooloo, also known as ‘Adesh’, and ‘Cow Curry,’ 31, of Lot 36 Number 58 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, appeared before Justice Navindra Singh where he entered the plea yesterday.
He was then sentenced to 16 years in prison with time spent on remand to be deducted.
