Suriname’s cyclist, Dimitri Madamsir brought his talents over to the 592 and rode off with the Inter Guiana Games (IGG) Men’s Individual Time-Trial trophy yesterday in the National Park.
His Guyanese counterparts however will be gunning for the road race win this morning when action swings over to the West Coast of Demerara.
Madamsir was a class above the rest of the nine starters (five local), setting a time of 4m: 10.12s on the flat 3km course.
