The Ministry of Health yesterday announced that a new COVID-19 death has been recorded.
The latest fatality has been identified as a 42-year-old man of Region Six, East Berbice-Corentyne, who died on Friday. His vaccination status was listed as unknown.
The new death has increased the country’s death toll from the virus to 1,285.
