The Ministry of Works yesterday charged that officials of the Den Amstel Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC) sought to derail a government development project in the West Demerara village by interfering with construction works in progress at the community ground.
Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar, on the ministry’s Facebook page yesterday, named several members of the NDC who approached the contractor, harassed him, and chased him out of the community ground.
