Carlos Petterson-Grifith took his otherworldly strength talent to Auckland, New Zealand and smashed the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships deadlift record yesterday en route to topping the 93kg (equipped) class.
Nicknamed ‘The Showstopper’, the behemoth, who is used to stepping on the top podium steps wherever he competes, recorded a total of 850kg yesterday to earn the gold medal in the class.
