A Brazilian national and a Guyanese were on Thursday arrested by the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) after finding 40 grams of cannabis in a vehicle bearing Brazilian licence plates in Lethem while another 600 grams were found in some bushes.
According to CANU, on December 1, their officers in Lethem intercepted a red vehicle bearing Brazilian licence plates number NAI 0550 with two occupants on the Rupununi Road in Central Lethem in the vicinity of South bus stop.
