The 2022 edition of the MVP Futsal Championship will be decided this evening when Bent Street opposes Future Stars in the men’s final at 23:00hrs and Fruta Conquerors battle Tiger Bay in the women’s decider at 21:00hrs at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
Hard fought wins were required by all four teams to clinch their respective berths to the championship match. In the men’s division, Bent Street bested Gold is Money 5-3 while Future Stars squeaked past Stabroek Ballers 2-1.
Bent Street will enter the match as the marginal favourite given their overall experience and quality as they boast a roster littered with national players including Akel Clarke, Daniel Wilson, William Europe, Omari Glasgow and Clive Nobrega.
