An Angoy’s Avenue man was yesterday remanded to prison after he was charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy on Wednesday last.
Lester La Fleur, 39, of Angoy’s Avenue appeared at the New Amsterdam Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh where he was charged with the murder of Carlos Leung.
An unrepresented La Fleur also known as ‘Eion’, was not required to plead to the charge and Magistrate Singh ordered a psychiatric evaluation for the accused.
